Your data, plainly

Your business stays your business.

An agent only works if it knows your prices, your customers, and your way of doing things. Here’s exactly what happens to that knowledge — in plain English, with the promises we put in writing.

01

You own it — all of it

Your documents, customer records, call recordings, and the agent’s own configuration are your property. We’re caretakers with a job to do, not owners. That’s written into our agreement, not implied.

02

It never trains anyone’s AI

The AI providers we build on state in their commercial terms that customer data is not used to train their models. Your call about a burst pipe teaches your agent about your customer — and nothing else, anywhere.

03

Walled off from every other client

Each business gets its own agent with its own knowledge, phone number, and credentials. Nothing from your business ever appears in another client’s agent — no shared brain, no crossed wires, by design.

The details that matter

Four questions owners ask us, answered

Q1

What about call recordings?

Calls can be recorded so we can review quality and you can settle “what was said” questions — but recording laws differ by state, so we set up the right disclosure for yours before launch, and you decide the retention. Recordings are yours, stored encrypted, and never used beyond running and improving your agent.

Q2

Who at Block9 can see our information?

Only the people building and monitoring your agent, only as needed to do that job. We keep a change log of every adjustment we make — what changed, when, and why — so there’s never a mystery about what your agent knows or does.

Q3

What happens if we leave?

You get your things back. We help you export your knowledge documents, recordings, and records, hand over anything portable, and then delete what we hold, on a timeline we agree together. Leaving cleanly is part of the service — we’d rather earn next year than lock you in.

Q4

What if something goes wrong?

We put real commitments in the contract instead of asking for trust: what the agent may do on its own, what always waits for a human, when we tell you something has gone wrong, and where our responsibility sits. We build on enterprise platforms from xAI and Anthropic, and we’re straight about the rest — we’re a small company without our own certifications, and our Security page says exactly what we do and don’t have. If your industry has extra rules (healthcare, finance), we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit before you sign.

Want the formal version? Our service agreement and data processing terms are available to review during your scope — just ask.

Comfortable so far?

Then let’s talk about your phones.

A short discovery scope tells us where calls or busywork are slipping — and tells you exactly what we’d build.
