1Who sends messages
Block9 LLC sends service-related text messages to its own clients. Separately, the AI agents we configure send messages on behalf of the businesses that engage us — those messages come from that business, under its name and its number, and that business is responsible for the relationship with the recipient.
2How you opt in
You may receive text messages from us or from a business we work with when you:
- Provide your mobile number on a web form, intake form, or booking request and agree to be contacted by text.
- Give your number to an agent during a call and agree to receive a confirmation or follow-up.
- Text the business first, which begins a conversation.
- Have an existing business relationship where texting is part of the agreed service.
Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase.
3What we send and how often
- Transactional: appointment confirmations, reminders, reschedules, job or order status, callback confirmations.
- Follow-up: responses to an enquiry you made, and a limited number of follow-ups if you haven't replied.
- Account: for our own clients — invoice notices, usage alerts, and service notifications.
Message frequency varies by conversation. Follow-up sequences are short and stop as soon as you reply or opt out. Messages are not sent during quiet hours in your local time zone.
4Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further. An opt-out applies across every message stream from that sender, is honored immediately, and is logged.
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Block9 LLC at 636-224-8069 or support@block9.app.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5Costs
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for messages; your mobile carrier may, according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
6Your mobile number and your privacy
Mobile information — including your phone number and your consent to be texted — is never shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data is not shared with anyone.
Your number is used only to deliver the messages described above. We share it with the messaging providers who transmit the message on our behalf — currently Twilio and our voice platform — and with no one else for any other purpose. Those providers are contractually restricted to that use. See our Privacy Policy and Data Processing page.
7Supported carriers and devices
Messaging is supported on major U.S. carriers. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed.
8For our clients — your obligations
If you engage us to send messages on your behalf, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each recipient, for meeting TCPA and CTIA requirements, and for the accuracy of the consent records behind your lists. We build the opt-out handling, quiet hours, and template controls; the consent is yours to obtain and evidence. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
